It would take me right back to Christmas 1988, unboxing the Batman pack, and being disappointed that my father hadn't purchased the Spectrum 128 that I had recommended!
In actual fact, I believe 'The Very First English Version' was indeed the very first disk to boot on my A500 - partly because the modulator included was faulty, requiring the family to wait until boxing day (or was it the day after?) before going into the city to organise a replacement from the store.
