i took a clean 500 meg harddrive and connected it to my pc.
formatted it and i installed workbench on it.
it works fine on the pc throu winue(it autoaticly run thw wb on startup)

but then when i took the harddrive to my real amiga 600 and connected it there, the hd just spin up and nothing happends8exept the "orginal" screen thing came up(the floppy thing).

isent it possible to install wb on a harddrive throu winuae and then install it it the real amiga and it boot there?

NO,
Plug it into the 600 first and FORMAT IT !

Hopefully the drive is recognised. To get information onto it you need to get a recognised (amiga) disk format.

Try one that is compatable with FAT32 file system.
but any amiga one will do.
But you will be able to read it on the PC ( THROUGH WINUAE) once you have...

Not very clear, but you get the point? :-D
