Can you remove everything connected, except power and monitor? Plain board?

Fixed!! I feel a little stupid but also very happy!
Without the hard drive I got the lovely new Kickstart scren - https://ibb.co/jGgXFTV

 Turns out, the flash card was in upside down on the slot  :o :-[

Now I've got Workbench https://ibb.co/JCQPy7X

All is well that ends well, now time to dig out all my old disks and get downloading
