Do they require a 3D card?

Wow, thanks again.
How well does Alien Breed 3D and Breathless work with WinUAE?

Somehow I think that people are mixing "3D" and "3D accelerated" games now. 3D accelerated (as in topic) games always mean running them in "3D card" and software rendered 3D doesn't count. And Akiko is does only chunky to planar conversion, no 3D.

You were so right, the old OS4 config was messing up things here. With that cfg removed, the game runs properly, although its still missing textures. Still have to tweak the settings a bit to make that work.

I have uploaded a new video to reflect the difference. As you can see, it is just about playable this way:

Try turning off wall marks - I think there's a setting in the options, or you can use the command \cg_marks 0
