Earok is now working on a ' Wonderboy in Monster Land SE ' version with more than just palette improvements. Amiga and CD32 version is being created.

Now THAT is cool!  I played the Amiga version to death (and occasionally cheated using my ARII), although I much preferred the Sega Master System version.
A1200: 50mhz GVP Jaws II+, OS 3.1, 32mb Fast, 1gb HD, Indivision MKIICR, PCMCIA network
A4000D: stock 030/25, OS 3.9, 16mb Fast, 1gb HD, Picasso II, Ariadne II, IOExtender

I played it a lot as well. I also agree with you that the Mastersystem version was a lot more fun. It was one of the first games I bought when I picked up mine when it was released too. What a great Christmas that was!

Bikkuriman World for the PC Engine is the same game (with licensed characters), and also rocks.
