Creating & writing to .adf & .hdf files in OS4.x
« on: November 29, 2015, 06:37:21 PM »
I have an AmigaOne X1000 running OS 4.1, and I have recently bought a FPGA Arcade Replay board.

The Arcade Replay when it has an Amiga core installed can access .adf & .hdf files (as created under WinUAE) and no other files.  It doesn't have a network port or a USB port yet - they are planned for a future daughter board.

Is there a way I can create and write to .adf & .hdf files under Amiga OS 4.x? I know I can do it under Windows using WinUAE or Total Commander, but using a PC to allow one Amiga to communicate with another seems like giving up.

I'd appreciate any advice I can get about this.

Install this: http://os4depot.net/share/driver/storage/diskimage_device.lha

With diskimage device you can mount lots of different disk images and it can also do writing to them, i have never used it with hdf and i don't have any hdf files available but it should write to them too.
