Can i play monkey Island 3 on my Amiga 1200? i have it for PC, i did not know it was made for Amiga :) do i need something special to play it?

AGA is too slow for 640*480 so you'll need an RTG card to play it on a classic Amiga
Life begins at 100 MIPS!

Nice Ports on AmiNet!

No I mean any graphics card :)

AGA is fine for 320*240 8bit but any higher resolution and it struggles
I have tried to get Monkey 3 to run fast enough on my 1200 but so far it's too slow, the same is true for Broken Sword
Life begins at 100 MIPS!

Nice Ports on AmiNet!

The Star Trek game from Interplay (AGA only) is very good. It needs HD, and also benefits from extra RAM and upgraded CPU.
A1200 in DIY Tower. 3.2 ROMs (softkicking 3.2.2), OS 3.2.2 with ClassicWB, CF card, CD RW and IDE to SD adapter running off the internal IDE port (using the A4000 4-port IDE adapter from Amigakit), Pistorm 32 lite with Pi4/2GB/Emu68 or Blizzard 1230-IV, with 32MB 60ns RAM and 50MHz 68882 FPU. 3COM PCMCIA Network card running with Miami DX.
MorphOS on PowerMac G5 and ATI 9600 pro

Nowadays, there are very very good new adventures as odes to our beloved Lucasarts and Sierra adventures!  :D
Try for instance Resonance, Hector or Gemini Rue.

-edit- ok I know it's all pc but anyway it's my experience that the "retro"-feeling is even better if new games in the same style come out.

Monkey Island, Beneath a Steel Sky and KGB stand out. (the KGB officials sticking to the party line, and talking to random civilians bitching about Perestroika is pretty funny. Great music too)

I always wanted to get into Legend of Kyrandia and a few others but not enough time :)

Hej mester :) i have just tried KGB you were right it is quite a cool game.

I don't think anyone mentioned "The Faery Tale Adventure"

I finished it with Julian, I don't think I could stand the idea of completing it with either of the younger brothers

Hi all,

Been awhile since I last posted here.

I would say that "Quest For The StarLord" would be my fav adventure game on the Amiga

"To Preserve Quandic" is another good one as well.

Opps, sorry just realized these were for the Tandy CoCo system. Great games though!
