Masterstroke - how about rendering the "Serving the amiga community..." tagline in topaz (with a slight scanline effect) :D

You know what will happen then don't you? :confused:

Topaz bitchin' Groundhog Day.

But they have their Garamond AMIGA logo, so it's the perfect compromise, right? Or if topaz is too 1337, perhaps a xen style fixed-width (think MUI) font?

I'd go with that, but make sure it is a WB 1.3 topaz! After that, we'll have to argue about what colour it should be. :D

Garamond AMIGA logo
Don't know where that started, but Garamond, at least the Garamond I have loaded, is a completely different font.  The Font which created the Amiga logo (Commodore's text logo) was Bodoni.

You'd have a tough time choosing between the four colors of the WB 1.3 desktop, lemme tell ya.. I vote "screaming bloody orange" :)

I think it's the closest font I remember having to the Bodoni one, especially at the time I was using my amiga for any kind of DTP stuff.

Hi.

@Wayne

I found the change, there is no "beta" anymore, so this is going to be the logo

Well, for what it's worth, I'm getting used to the new header (especially as it shows up twice on AWeb... lol...)

I guess I would be the 8th person that uses an Amiga to check out A.org ... There are many websites that I can't visit AT ALL on my Amiga, so basically, as long as I can still read and post on A.org with an Amiga, I'm happy ..... even if the header gets re-done in Topaz in 'screaming orange' , or the Boing ball is replaced by a brussel sprout, or whatever...

Wayne, I can't even pretend to know what you went through to upgrade the site. Thanks for all the time and effort!

Peace, Y'all !
