Humor from the Amiga Side
« on: August 11, 2003, 09:38:16 PM »
I search for amiga humor because a heard
in my early years something about it, now i
found this:

http://users.snip.net/~newkirk/amiga/Amighumr.html
(Plz copy And Paste,
i don't why it does not link, anybody ?!?!)

Please read the "OS Messages" It says a lot
of intresting things, but they don't say WHICH Amiga or WHICH OS or WHICH combination, it only
says "CERTAIN COMBINATIONS" :-(
Anybody now them ??? :-)

Sorry I can't help you with the combinations...

But you cut and paste by using:
RightAmiga+c to copy and
RightAmiga+v to paste :)

If your browser doesn't support the "URL" "IMG" "EMAIL" etc. javascript buttons then you can type the commands in manually in the textbox.

Amiga Humor Link

Try to look at the source code to my above link in your browser you'll then see how it's done :-)

Ok Sphinx_Ra, try this, i don't know if it works:

You have to be running KickStart 1.2 (33.166 I think, I can't remember if they were all there in the 33.180 release).

Now, press the following all at the same time, Left-Shift Left-Alt Right-Alt Right-Shift and then press one of the 10 functions keys (while still holding down the above four) and you get one of 10 different messages in the menu bar.

Now for the fun bit.

Do the above, and then while holding down all 5 keys, insert a disk in the internal drive, and you get *another* message, and for the classic conclusion after all this (still holding down all 5 keys?) eject the disk, and the message:

"We made Amiga, they ####ed it up"

appears in the menu bar.

Martyn.

Thanks man :-)

But just in case...

Just a Plain A500 with 1.2,
and power on (with the hand and the disk:-))
and then the combinations right ????

I doubt it (although I've never used 1.2, let alone tried this) - if it appears in the menu bar you'd probably need to boot WB.  But I've really got no idea :-D

Nobody is really sure what the weasels are for, but it somehow sets the mood
