Too bad it's April 1st.  I was getting a bit excited there.  If this is by any slim chance true then it'll be the best marketing for Commodore stuff since 1982.

I would have picked a better day to drop this bomb, but I'm sure Barry has his reasons.

Silence! That movie was...okay, it wasn't awesome, but it sure as hell wasn't shit. (I think it most suffers from being an action blockbuster where devotees of the original were expecting more of the quirky, off-beat cult-classic vibe, but it's a solid action blockbuster with some fine performances, and in this age of brainless shaky-cam Michael Bay abortions, that counts for a lot.)

It is true, not an april 1st :)

They will even have a TV commercial on this very same subject, if I understood everything correctly.

Visually it looks inferior and the story is worse sorry. Olivia Wilde in Lycra is te only reason to watch it! If you never saw Tron then sure you may not have such a negative critique :) Same as War Games vs remake really.

Now if they put the flyer in Blu-Rays of original Tron, War Games etc then it could work.

This announcement is strangle, but not implausible. Besides, Barry would be foolish to post it and a Disney logo if it weren't true.
Disney is very litigious.

Hey, I did indeed see the original Tron, and I thoroughly appreciate it for what it is - but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the sequel. (And I didn't say it was as good as or better than the original, but it sure isn't crap.)

Now, the WarGames remake, though...KILL IT WITH FIRE.

Also, if this is indeed a real thing, I guess we know where CUSA's supposedly astronomical marketing budget went...

Yeah. Barry wouldn't use a logo without getting permission first...

lol if the flyer isn't actually in the blu-ray cases it doesn't make a difference.

I am probably one of the biggest TRON fans ever and the first time that I saw Legacy I must say I was a little disappointed but that one solely due to my expectations which weren't realistic.

It would be like getting one of the CommodoreUSA 'Amigas' and having the same 'experience' as you did back in the day when you first got your first Amiga - That was a once only that will never happen again.

Now that I have re-watched Legacy, I appreciate it more and more..... It is a GREAT action flick that can stand on its own merits, IMHO.  Plus, Legacy will keep the TRON franchise alive without tarnishing it which is more than I can say for the 'New' phantom Amigas.
