Kees (IMO) isn't exhibiting "attitude", he simply appears to be not very keen on the idea of organizing a team which might only have the effect of creating further tension between the two sites.

I thought it was a good idea at first ... but after the last few days i'm not sure anymore ...

But again ... if anyone wants to play .... play  :-)

I'll join in some other time.

There's never been any harsh words between me and you, so why the attitude ?

What attidude ? ... I see no reason to come up with a team .. as i'm not playing myself ... and i'm not going to pick 4 players because *I* want them to be on the 'Amiga.org team' ... if someone wants to play on behalf of Amiga.org, be my guest and I wish you good hunting ... but I am not going to decide who they are ...

Edit - I will expect to see the total distruction of the aw.nut team though  :-P

I'm happy to take part when the majority of players can from here, the good players :-)

Kees dude, you know you want to organise and play,  it's your job ;-)

Dunno why people have got the wrong attitude about the games, i think it's a great way to have a bit of fun for  regulars of the 2 websites.  The people with the hangups should lighten up..but if people are taking what is fun so seriously i dont see the point of them games at all.

I've played on the AW server along with other AO members,  there has never been any problems, they have been good sports and we have had a great time.
They have had alot of practise though so the games would be tough... errr probably ;-)

@Kees

I just saw the Cinevideo Dutch TV crew passing my house to go to hampden......I may "accidentally" let down they're tyres and you'll not get to watch  the match.....so you'll be free to play then?  ;-)

AW CRAP!!!! Yea sure ***NOW*** you guys challenge us to an FPS-match, ....

NOW THAT WE BOOTED DOOMMASTER!!!!  :roflmao:
/edit/ I know, he left voluntarily /edit/

sure!  yea,

I see how it is. Now that he's back over there you have a ringer! :-o
 :-P  :roflmao:

Sounds like fun though, I anticipate one small topic that's about to come up that *could* conceivably cause minor flames though....

Which team gets to be red and who's going blue? :-o  :-P
this space for rent

Erm we had that discussion in IRC the other day, Kees was determined not to be "blue" team.

So they are doing a playoff for the colours

Doomys going to have some real mil-spec cannons so watch out.

And PS, you can have him back anytime ;-)

Team colours will be decided by a single game with 1 player from each team, first person to score a frag gets first choice of team colour

Thats the closest we can get to a toss of a coin

While I have UT, it would require me setting up my PC again for it.

Can't we play Quake or Quake 2 and then I can run my Peggy?

I will dig around for his UT disks tho.

UT is perfect for me. There is more people who have a pc that Amiga also here on AO and AW.

But i can play also Dinamyte or Quake 1 on my 1200.

My problem is the latency (ping) not the game. Good play for tomorrow, have a nice game..... and DaveyD is a very good players ;-)
