Oh wayne....do come on......a game of UT would create tension? I most certainly don't believe that.

And I'm afraid I don't have UT :-/, if only you guys would use HL ;-).

It will probably have the opposite effect and relieve some tention
They say that if you play a Microsoft CD backwards it has satanic messages on it... heck.. that\\\'s nothing.. if you play it fowards it will install Windows.

What an utterly stupid idea....

Only those whiners at AW.net could come play a SPS(*) on Windows
while insisting to be the "true" Amigians :-P (**)

(*) stupid people shooter
(**) I've added a smiley, so acoording to Darrin's law No. 12 I get away with
everything, and nobody has the right to get angry. Actually sub-chapter
15 has the "Häusser-clause" which forces everybody to laugh with me  :destroy:
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Where geographically are the servers being played on?

Oh yeah, go for Q3 or JK2JO and I'll join in :-)

(Then you'll be sorry, yadda yadda yadda)

@mikeymike
Thanks

The server is in the USA, but even I get a ping time of 150ms or better from here in the UK using NTL, infact most people that use our UT server are from Europe

Eeek!  Staying with UK servers.  Once I get broadband again.  >100ms pings are a total pain, people with pings like that get walked all over in games against decent, low latency players.

How about dynAMIte challenge or something like that.. so that we amiga-users could play too ;)

I hear that! I've been on the dynamite servers the last few days, but I never see any others on. I'd love to set up a match!

Kees (IMO) isn't exhibiting "attitude", he simply appears to be not very keen on the idea of organizing a team which might only have the effect of creating further tension between the two sites.

I thought it was a good idea at first ... but after the last few days i'm not sure anymore ...

But again ... if anyone wants to play .... play  :-)

I'll join in some other time.
