I think you're trying to help, but I'm not understanding. efika seem portable enough, so if I try to access an internet hotspot for example my college, what would it need since there isn't a wireless card built in?

Thanks!!

How about a USB wifi adapter or Ethernet to wifi adapter?

BoingBoing - Linksys Ethernet to wifi

So, yes - it's possible to do.

Assuming Poseidon will support the USB wifi.
I think, Therefore - Amiga....

Something like this should work as it requires no drivers (but you may need to attach a PC initially to configure it for the network).

Yes, but an Ethernet to Wifi adapter doesn't require drivers. Neither does an Ethernet bridge, just a TCP/IP stack on the system which MorphOS has.

So, you hook the Efika into the adapter/bridge and use it to communicate with the wireless system.

USB wss just a secondary idea because I wasn't sure that Poseidon had drivers for USB wifi like it does for USB NICs.

Well, it doesn't have WiFi drivers. Too many chipsets and WiFi stack to implement.

Thanks, Yes - I understand but there is a solution for the guy to use wireless with MorphOS. (Bridge or Ethernet to wifi adapter.)

I can certainly understand not implementing too many chipsets. It would take forever. I thought there might be  a few more common that would be useful to users of MorhpOS or AmigaOS? I didn't know if there were a few in there as I didn't have time to go read the support page right then. :-) I figured he could go check. :-)

thanks Nlandas, Hey Chris

Well good all around info. I'll try that option once it gets here next week! module costs around $85-100 for sure though.
