A1200 in A500 case
« on: November 24, 2002, 05:30:04 PM »
Has anyone tried to put A1200 into A500 case? It would be nice to have powerful miggy still in compact keyboard case with all bells and whistles :)
I think there's enough room for a1200 motherboard, blizzardPPC, BVision, clockport soundcard, ide interface+good hdd, fast serial, int scandoubler, hd floppy, notebook fan etc. What differences are between a1200 and a500 keyboards and keyboard connectors? of course, that a500 case shouldnt be too yellow;)

nothing is impossible :-)
Give it a go, and if the case is yellow and ugly, try to
brush it with fine(>200) sandpaper and spraypaint it..

and what about going alittle further, like the case modders, and add a window to it and put a red/blue/green
cold cathode light inside

I've been thinking about that too after I saw that cool red A1200 in A500 case in Amiga Active. I just have to get few things before I begin that project.
