WHat should i update after a fresh copy of OS3.9?

Hi all, i have recently did a fresh copy of OS 3.9 on my 1200 (specs in siggy) and have installed bb 1 + 2. I have also installed all the relevant drivers for my cards that are in my Mediator LT4. I am using Genisis as my stack and IBrowse 2.4 (registered) as my browser. I have also installed MUI 3.8, Updated icon.library to the latest version. What else would you recommend for me to do?

I think the answer ultimately depends on what programs you'll be running, so just install things as you need them.

That said, you might want to consider upgrading to IBrowse 2.5.2 (yes, it was finally released) and adding the latest AmiSSL.

Install TurboPrint as the inbuilt printer support is rubbish and the bundled Graphics Publisher program is one of my favourites and in conjunction with Photogenics allows my to print high quality images. As for upgrading OS3.9 beyond BB1+2 generally I view it as fun little voyage of discovery i.e. upgrading WHDLoad as new ports fail to work, setting up AHI when games like Heart of the Alien don't have Paula support without it etc!

It's all part of the Amiga charm keeping all the dependencies chugging along! Heck it's always been thus; I remember having to run the Napalm Game's setup program prior to using Key to Driving Theory to get it to run correctly from the CD = crazy hacks all round!
