NTSC -> PAL?

is there any way of doing this as a mod?

i'm convinced there is, to be honest, but wouldnt know where to start
A1200 in original casing
Internal
4.3gb hard drive // 24x cdrom // clock port Hypercom1 // floppy drive
External
3 floppy drives, and a 3 Com Etherlink 3 PCMCIA Ethernet Card

In that case just set the motherboard jumper to PAL.
Can't remember it's number off hand, but it's fairly obvious when you see it.
That sets the default video mode, but you can set whatever mode you want using the screenmode prefs.

According to the big book it's J212.  Pin 1-2 NTSC, 2-3 PAL.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(

there is one on US ebay, going for cheap, if it costs less than £100 to import i may buy it, this is why i was asking
