MacBook Pro clone appears in China
« on: April 04, 2010, 10:48:00 PM »
Take a look at this thing in China: http://www.electronista.com/articles/10/03/31/macbook.pro.clone.with.atom.shows.up.in.china/

From the article:
14.1" screen
1366x768 resolution
1.6/1.66 Ghz
HDMI output
1 or 2GB RAM
VGA output

This is one x86 machine I like, a no frills Macbook Pro!
My machines:
PowerMac G4 MDD 1.5ghz 1.25GB 10.5.8 & MOS 2.7
Mac Mini C2D 10.6.8 2GHz 3GB 250GB HDD
MacBook Retina 16GB 256GB SSD 10.8
iPad 2
Underground Gamer invites (a classic game site) PM

Need a part for a PC or Mac? PM me, I\'ll let you know if I come across it.

OS X trumps Windows on every level.

MorphOS, OS4 and Classic Amiga systems are the only ones who are real \'Amigas\', not that joke AROS or Amiga Forever.

Good. Another crack in Mac's "armor." Maybe this will be the thing that finally gets them to open up their market, especially since their ain't squat they can do about China, unlike Pystar... sadly.

Ain't holdin' my breath, though...

heh... in China... do you think they use LEGAL versions of development software, CAD, etc? They get to compete on the lowest price and use pirated software for development. I'm not saying ALL of them...

try that in the USA.

I like how they don't fudge around RRPs. They keep knocking $5 off every week to keep people interested.
