The Radeon "heat-wave" problem is fixed in a later version of the monitor driver IIRC. Try installing (if you can see!) a later update to OS4 and it should be eliminated...
After a decade away from the scene, I am back!

Go to Hyperion's website and download the Prerelease Update #1 - it's a new ISO image that replaces the original prerelease CD. The Radeon driver that shipped with the original prerelease is extremely buggy, and the heatwave effect is a known problem. It's corrected in update #1. Install from that rather than the original CD.

Once that's done you've got a few more things to do before you have an up-to-date OS4. Report back here if you need help going through them.

I am interested, but like you said it is a long way to travel.

And on Saturday I work until 11.45, so making it would be difficult (it would take me 1 and a half hours to get there.

Thanks but sorry not this time :-(

I have found the ISO and copies onto a CD on my PC.

I have opened UBoot 1.0.0.

Where do I go from here :-?

I managed to download the ISO and burnt it to a CD, but how to I get it on my AmigaOne?

Do I have to get it on through Linux or through the BIOS?

Please help as I no nearer to solving the problem.

I have managed to upgrade UBoot to version 1.1.1., but still when it comes to installing OS4 I get the heatwave effect and can't see what I am doing.
