Amiga.org logging in issues?
« on: October 02, 2013, 08:32:51 PM »
Anyone having logging in issues on Amiga.org after the hosting company did some routine maintenance earlier this week? If you are you can get around this by clicking remember me. We are trying to find out how wide spread of an issue this is so the hosting company can fix the problem.

I noticed the site has been having issues for about three days now....  Only once yesterday did I notice the logon issue but it seemed to go away... Actually what seems to be happening is that you appear to be logged on... when you hit the post button you are then knocked off. When you log back on your post will be there.

Hosting company is investigating this since we didn't change anything. Hopefully it gets figured out soon. It's a strange issue that some members are experiencing.

For one day (I don't remember which) I could get on but the logo wasn't showing and I got "access denied" on everything I tried.

Works like a charm now.

I had a devil of a time getting on Tuesday (I believe). Even your "remember me" trick didn't work. Today all seems OK.

Mine is fine except for the three days.  It had some error message. Hopefully they get it figured out.

Logging in from the main page does not work... Well it lets me, says thanks for logging in then if I go to reply or post it says not logged in.

If I try and reply to a thread and then login it lets me, but once I reply once I'm apparently not logged in anymore...

This appears to be fixed now, anyone still having issues? If you are still having problems  please clear your local DNS and browser cache and try again.

Sorry about that, hosting company is working to fix it.

I wasn't being nasty of anything so no need for apologies. ;)

When I log in on home page it accepts log in but then when it goes back to home page it says I'm not logged in.

When I select 50 Latest Posts it says I AM logged in (at top right I'm talking about)

When I go back to home page again it says I'm not logged in.

Then if I click on 50 Latest Posts again it says I am logged in.

Edit : Interestingly after posting this reply it doesn't show up on the home page at the top like it should...(also says I'm not logged in at top as usual). Then when I click on 50 Latest Posts my post appears at the top where it should be - until I click on home again where it disappears. Weird eh?? LOL.
