That's very odd indeed.  Almost as though your browser doesn't support basic HTML comments.

Can you give me the URL that actually says this?  I'm trying to isolate which file the problem might be in.

It used to be on the post/reply page under where you typed the post that a set of frequently used emoticons (smilies) were available. Now they are not there and I miss them :^(
If you're not going to put them back, I suggest you change the word "more" to something resembling "smilies" or "emoticons".

I've also found it only occurs when I'm logged in, otherwise forums are displayed properly.

I asked another user with a similar setup to varify it, but he didn't have any problems (Same version of safari, same version of the OS) so it could be just me.

Hi uncharted

if you are speaking about that the page is larger than usual, yes it happens here too with IBrowse 2.3 so NOT browser related.

IIRC sometimes even on the old XOOPS system, rarely happened to me also.

Ciao

EDIT- onestly . . .not a great problem IMHO :-)

Hi Wayne,

i've found a similar problem on AW

HERE

"WHat? Still no OS4? AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

And I think I speak for all potential developers and marketers when I say:
AAAAAAAARRRRRRRR-
GGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

Edited by DaveyD: Large fontsize was causing horizontal scrolling

Ciao

don't change anything, simply click on the search button or watever, it's says 2085 (or watever) member found, but you can't change pages...

1) Not a bug, a members list.  Is this not what it's there for?

2) Maybe I misunderstand, but why should you be able to change or alter anyone else's pages?

what i meant was don't enter any values (change anything) in the search fields, and that all the members arn't shown in one page, it says 1 2 3 4 ... 147  Next

but if you try to click on any of the numbers to switch the current page of members it gives a javascript error

Fixed this problem - paging in "Members" works again.

not really a bug as it doesn't cause a problem, but if you post a comment on one of the soapboz "articles", then it goes Thank you for your submission, and in the top left says "article"

some random text from somewhere...

views counter
« Reply #116 on: March 21, 2004, 12:45:49 AM »
Maybe not a bug, really, but something I noticed. When you make a new thread, the views counter starts at 1. Is it really important to record that the original poster read his own post? The next page after submitting is the post itself, so there will always be at least 1 view for a thread. If you submit the post before finishing it on accident and go back and edit it, the count will start at 2 because you will be sent to read it again.

This is new to the upgrade because I'm sure before then all my new threads started with zero views.

Maybe.  Dunno.  Does this mean you can't sleep at night?  :)

Suddenly a couple of days ago IBrowse 2.3 began to complain with the server or visa versa having too long header or something. Nothing should have been changed at home. Odd.
Using my job PC now.

in the members section, in the little box displaying the information about the member, there are two e-mail buttons.... Also it seems that the new (xoops1) and the original (xoops2) buttons are intermixed...
