Mtec 1230/28 RTC , jumper wire
« on: March 31, 2010, 08:00:20 AM »
Hi,
Really a newb on this, just bought a A1200 with the Mtec 1230/28 RTC
card installed. I was removing the card when I noticed there was a wire
jumpered from the rear edge connector to the Lattice chip in front . Does
anyone have any info as to what this jumper does. I would like to clean
up the solder job done on it (it looks sloppy). Also it uses a soldered on
CR20332 battery, has anyone tried to socket this batt for ease in de-
installation. Any info would be appreciated...
