Software Hut (www.softhut.com)

Been trying to reach them for days. Got bags of money I would like to give them - in exchange for new VarIO and Delfina cards. Can't get any response to my emails for almost a week now. Are they still around, or defunct, or just part-time?

I think the consensus is "barely on life support". I'd love to be proven wrong.

I hope not! They're one of our last local (as in this side of the pond!) vendors for Amiga hardware.

If its true, maybe its because they don't respond to emails or answer the phone!

I really don't want to send money down a blind hole - especially if my emails are being ignored. If that's the case I may as well go on and pay my mortgage and forget about it. :(

You are, of course, right.

Early this morning in the wee hours, I ordered some parts from Vesalia and Amigakit. I love their variety of selection and availability (both of them) but the shipping charges cost almost as much as the items themselves.

I've never had good luck with SoftHut. That's just me, though. It's a part-time gig for the guy and he hasn't updated his site in over a decade, so odds are, he may not even have it. I know a lot of people say to email Joe, first, so that might be your best option.

Yeah, shipping costs can add up quick, unfortunately. Bad exchange rates for the US dollar don't help either.

I think I still have his direct email. Way back in 2004 when I got my first A2000 for rebuilding, I did a lot of business with him, several hundred dollars, including all of the original cards listed in my sig. I'll give it one last shot...

PM me. I'll provide the details of this morning's order, and get an estimate from you on the price of the two cards. Thanks.
