It's what you get if you combine x86 and x64.  Plus a few spliffs.   ;)

What we\'re witnessing is the sad, lonely crowing of that last, doomed cock.

Almost 42,000 views and counting, that's damn impressive. It would be nice for a story to get that many views on Amiga.org.

Well you should have made a news announcement out of it...maybe you would have got more views. It's probably the single biggest Amiga story in the last several  years (even if it's still in "hint" status), and there is no news item posted about it.

What gives you that idea?
And how do you port one OS to a different OS? Emulator? UAE with PowerUp emulation to run OS4.0?

From Slashdot.

Like WINE, there was a project to run AmigaOS 3.1 software for Linux and other platforms, but it evolved instead into an open source operating system named Amiga Research OS, or AROS.

Er, what? A WINE-like project? Maybe for about 5 seconds in 1996. This sounds like a classic case of misremebering to me.

Is the little piece of motherboard they put on the site an existing piece of hardware? If not then it seems quite clear that this is hardware-related. Or it's a red herring. Can anyone tell if it looks real or a Photoshopped mock-up?

It looks like the next clue is at 12:00 today if the source code of their last page is anything to go by.

It seems a dot was a picture of a motherboard, and there may be hardware involved.

Please note that I haven't got a clue what I am talking about :roflmao:

Does look like a new PPC board - AmigaOne Powe..
Let's see if we get a somewhat decent price/performance ratio.

Hey, you're spoiling it! Let everyone look for themselves!
