Platform Contruction set
« on: June 17, 2003, 11:57:43 AM »
what was the name of that old Generic Platform game contruction set that used to be around? They always made games with this monkey and stuff.

Is that free for download now a days, or are they still trying to profit off of it?

Ooooh! I remember that... it was written in AMOS... urrhh... and it had a monkey... and... coke cans.... or something...

I can't remember its name though.

There was another AMOS-written "general purpose, no programming required" game construction kit called "Reality", but the one you're thinking of is slightly older.

OK, the monkey game was called "Charlie Chimp", but I can't remember the name of the platform construction kit that it was made in. (although that kit itself was definately written in AMOS).

The kit itself eventually became the "Reality game creator", because Charlie Chip SE '96 was done in Reality.

Thankx, I'll do some searches on that Mr. Chimp and see what I can find...
