« on: November 22, 2011, 01:19:07 AM »
Dear Friends:

I have Cando for amiga.
I was able to make a nice slideshow for my aladdin 4d renders.
I have a question:
Have you ever made a game in Cando ?
any kind of game...no matter how simple ?
Can you tell me about making games in cando ?
what do you think ? what can you make ?

Thanks !!!

I wrote a couple of applications in CanDo way back when. No games though... One of them was a system to manage classified ads for a local newspaper. The other was a thing to make random starfields for lightwave/imagine. I started on a play by play stats deck for sports videos, but never finished that one.

I once made a starship battling game in a combination of True Basic and CanDo.
Wanna try a wonderfull strategy game with lots of handdrawn anims,
Magic Spells and Monsters, Incredible playability and lastability,
English speech, etc. Total Chaos AGA

Actually I did make a simple Risk type game in Cando, it was more effort than it was worth, but a fun exercise. Cando was a powerful program, but very rigid when compared to a real programming language :)
