Converting a Panasonic Jopypad to Amiga
« on: April 10, 2004, 05:05:09 PM »
Hello All,

my problem is the following: I have an Panasonic 3DO-joypad (FZ-JP1) which i want to use on my Amiga 500. The Pad has the same 9-pin-plug, but when i attach it, i just get a constant foreward/up-signal on my amiga.
My idea is to open the pad and to re-arrange the connections by "try-and-error". Does someone know if it is possible at all to convert the pad in an amiga joypad, has someone done it (unlikely ;), or is it impossible because of the hadware settings?
It would also help me a lot, if someone could tell me wich one of the cables is the "ground". I guess the black one(s).

Thanks and Bye
