Title: Amiga Monitor question?

this is dumb question, but I wanted to know for sure... will the following monitor work with the A500, A1000 and etc...

Commodore Amiga 1080 monitor RGB/SVHS/CVBS

just curious!

Yes, the 1080 should work with any Amiga from the 1000 to the 4000 and everything in between.  I have a few 1080s at home for my Amigas.

So the A500 is a no go then?

The "S" designation simply means ... Stereo

Yes it'll work with your A500  ( Just use the right lead)

Yes, the A500 actually came out after the A1000 and all classic amigas share that same audio and video interface so yes, it will work on your 500.

...and the best thing is, you just plug it in, turn it on and it works. No screwing around with drivers like on the Dark Side.
