Dead Cyberstorm 68060-PPC
« on: March 03, 2003, 08:10:07 PM »
I think I've blown (burned) my 68060. Is there a way to test a blown 68060? The System suddenly stopped working. Frozen mouse and then black screen. The A4000T was running contingously since 1998. I was watching football (socccer) on the paloma (PicassoIV + TV) when it happend. :cry:

The amiga works well with the old 68040@25MHz, but slow :-(

Anyone got a spare 68060@50MHz ?

Markus

@cdfr + voxel,

I didn't know there's a repair center in france, but I will do myself first and then I will support B+S Digitronic here in Switzerland.

I tried once again and it booted but crashed after the setpatch reboot. It seems that some  parts of the 68060 are indeed dead.
