I use my 3 Amiga 2000HD computers mainly for playing my over 1000 classic Amiga games and for PC game development (graphics and sound).  I create the actual game levels on my Pentium 4 PC.     :-P

There are commercially available dynamic ramdisks for Windows. It sucks that you have to pay for third party software for such a feature though, you'd have thought there was room for it somewhere among the bloat.

Sorry, but this is untrue, MS-DOS comes standard with an apart program for that.

I dont know why people say a PC (windows) crashes alot..I have one running Win 2k pro, day and night, weeks on end without any problems.

Amiga 2000HD - for ? (hasnt come in yet! LOL)

Amiga 500 - for games..will use the A2000HD w/cdrom to read cd's w/ADF's on 'em, then put 'em to floppy for the A500....****if only I had a CDROM for the A500.*****

No, it doesn't. The ms-dos ramdisk is totally STATIC. It doesn't enlarge or decrease depending on your needs. AmigaOS ramdisk changes its size DINAMICALLY to make room for files.

I use my "old" (if you can call it that way) Amiga, becuase i grew up with that machine, it gave me good fun over the last years, and it still does.

Of course I am not only using my Amiga, but i hafta say that to 80% it is my Amiga that i use most. Therefore my Amiga lives for ever, no matter what happens.

I use it because i want to use it, because i like, because it is a wonderful piece of technology!!!!!!

Well using a old Amiga is like making love to a beautiful woman...... you sit down before her and run your hands over her petit little body and she'll light up super quick before you... She's also very forgiving, if you treat her bad,  just control her two little A's and she'll switch off breifly but will be back and ready for some more play in seconds (Alias Swiss Tony).  :-P
