a4000 cd rom not reading SOME disks

wondering if anybody else has seen this happen, my a 4000 used to read all my cd roms, now it decided that it does not like some of my home made cd's wired cuz my 3000 read them just fine?  I have a 40x cdom i got form softhut back in 2000.... the 3000 has an old scsi external cd burner....

Some CD drives have trouble reading burned discs. The fact that yours used to suggests it may be wearing out.

A temporary solution is to burn your discs at a lower speed.

do you use same CD filesystem in both amigas?
there can be some problems with multisession discs, just guessing...
too lazy to use shift key properly...
