Is Turrican 2 CDTV Worth £186 in Very Good Condition or do you think this is overpriced? I'm assuming it's rare.

Only someone with that much money to throw away . . .
-
It's worth whatever money a fool is prepared to pay.
-
It would help if someone could tell me the rarity of the game hence the price.

That probably means it's pretty rare!

"Rarity 8."
"8 tupidly rare. Expect to pony up some hard-earned money for this title."
Not saying it's worth what being asked though.
If you think it's worth it then offer £50 and see how much the seller is willing to budge.

If you are looking for rare, this is one of only two CD's ever made!
And I will sell you one for £19.99
(p.s., to date)

Ok, thanks for your help everyone. Just as a matter of interest is Turrican 2 for CDTV worth more than Turrican 3 for the Amiga?

That particular seller is very famous in Germany for asking ridiculious prices. If you check ebay Germany regularly, you'll see plenty of his "rare", "shrinkwrapped", "mint condition" titles for astronomical prices.
Also, he once sold a copy of Giana sisters, where it later turned out that he had bought it via an Amiga forum without packaging and then resold it on ebay with selfmade packaging claiming it was completely original. The whole story is somewhere on EAB.
Stay clear.

That's a shame about the Non Original Giana Sisters Game. I'm sure most of his games for sale are Originals though, right?
-
Been looking through his feedback. I can't believe someone paid %&$#?@!%&$#?@!%&$#?@!8364;5,000 for an SX32.

There's a sucker born every minute. Good luck! PS - speaking as someone who's spent a fair chunk of their lifetime playing them, Turrican 3 is bloody awful compared to 1 & 2. :D

Hello there, someone on EAB said there's a Kixx Version of Turrican 2 for sale at £200 which is clearly overpriced. I agree with that and i wouldn't pay that much for that copy. What your not seeing though is that the Rarity of the CDTV version is ranked at 8 meaning Rare. It even says on the Project 32 Website 'Expect to Pay Large amounts of Money for this version'. Rob mentioned this earlier on. And if it's an Original release unlike the budget Kixx version it's going to increase the value of the game for the Collector. I've seen some Retro Games for sale like NES ones for over £1000. Cheers.

If you are going to buy it I'd still try and knock the price down as much as you can. By the way I've got Fly Harder here which is rated 9 in rarity on that site. I think I picked up for £5 back in 1995.

5000 euro for an SX-32 that is impossible to believe.
Also checking the feedback there was another copy of Turrican II that he sold for 229 Euro.
