They are original and creative

When you buy an item they will add the VAT, add the cost of P&P and later add the VAT of the item (that already included VAT) + P&P.

So let's say you buy a Coccolino for 30Euros for example. Let's suppose VAT is 16% and let's suppose P&P is 10 Euros. How much they will charge you?:

(30 * 1.16 + 10)*1.16 = 51,968 instead of 46,4...

Beware of them. They don't have most of stuff in stock and they'll try to charge you VAT two times (making your order a 16% more expensive).

I have various friends who have suffered their creativity.

I never had problems with ASB.
All my orders are ok and fast, with good comunication with Juan.
I know that many people had problems with ASB but you know that are a lot of extrange people in the amiga comunity that make extrange things with her hardware:P

Yes ppl do strange things with amiga hardware, like selling off his PPC card with broken traces, traces unglued from the pcb because of the soldering´s iron heat and the scsi connector pins each one blendered on its own direction.

Sold as working of course.

This was NOT ASB but a particular guy.

@Doraemon

My experience says the opposite, I had to wait a lot and he didn't have the stuff in stock.

And that's the reason he charges VAT twice? Sorry, but I fail to see the logic in your comment. He has not charged VAT twice one time or two, he has done it almost always.

A friend of mine decided to buy a Catweasel from him. ASB sent him a broken CW covered with dirt that clearly *wasn't new*. He sent the CW back to Amiga Superbit and *again* ASB sent him a broken CW *covered with dirt* and clearly used. I don't say "tested", I say "used" as in "second hand". The third time my friend phoned ASB quite angry and ASB sent him another CW this one was also *clearly* used but it had been clean. But you still could notice that it was an used card.

I have another two friends who have bought Individual Computers products in Germany and I promise you... the boards are "shiny" clean and reflect the light because these are new and have good quality.

If someone "did extrange things" with hardware it was ASB because he sells used boards as if these boards were new. And to add insult to the injury he charges you VAT two times.

DeQuevedo, If you have any problem with a ppc that someone like sell 2 years ago, the correct way to fix the problem is send a email or try to contact never troll 2 years later about the seller.
Please be an adult.
I will enjoy to troll with you, but I have more intereasting things to do.

Have a nice day

Yes, thats what happens if the vendor doesnt care when you complains very after the transaction.

I think most ppl dont like answers like "If it have traces in bad state it must have been in the mail service" or other so nice like " Dont care. All ppcs start ramdomly at the powerup of the amiga. If it doenst power on at first, opwer the computer on/off until you get it working"

Quite funny uh?

Anyway, since I have it running perfectly ( even 060 modded ) because i repaired it myself, i was just pointing out strange things ppl do with hardware ( like try to hack a hardware piece if you´re NOT skilled enough )

I had no problems with ASB Computer.

2 Months ago I ordered a Mediator 1200SX. Paying with Paypal, 8 hours later I received a message that Paypal payment could delay shipment due transfer Paypal account->Bank account. I had to sent a comformation/paypal receipe that the payment was made. And 3 Days later i received the package. (They sent it to the Netherlands before they got the money at the bank-account.)

This was the first time i ordered something at ASB-Computer. Good communication very friendly.

I buy there for 3/4 years and I never had any problem.

When I have read the about the wrong VAT charge, I have checked my two invoices from this year and are ok. Also, I have tried to buy a Coccolino (as your example) at their web (but without finish the order) and the VAT calculations was ok. So I think it was a problem only with your purchase. Have you contact them to ask you about this problem?

They have always been professional people and very quick with my shipments.

Are you sure you are talking about the same store?  :-?

ASB is great, I will buy next time at ASB Computer ;)

I bought many times for the last three years and that ASB people have always been correct: fast, good communication, serious, etc. The bills has the correct IVA (VAT).
Items has always been delivered to me in good conditions: new and very well protecteded.
I am happy to have that commerce in my country. The only Amiga shop I know!

I have good experiences with ASB but on the last year I received my A1 ready to go after a very long time,
my computer went down a month and a half ago so now I have
to get fixed again.

I only turned off the system and disconnected the cables
to let the light of the tower sleep and when I connected
the cables again I never got my Amiga One up and running again.

I live in North Spain a hundred kilometres nesr to France.
Keeping this in mind I have two questions for you Amiga users like me.

Does anybody knows any Amiga dealers in Spain apart from ASB Computer ?

And... Does anybody knows any good and efficient Amiga repair center outside Spain ?

@Ivanhoe

try to change the battery and the PSU. Clean the contacts, check out that the cpu module is firmly inserted

Where can I find the battery and the PSU ?
What is the PSU ?
The CPU module gives a green light.
Doesn`t it so risky for a normal user like me ?
I don`t have any tech knowledge of the Amiga...
