Old mod
« on: July 19, 2011, 12:37:34 PM »
I'm desperately looking for an older chip-tune for a compilation...
On top of it all, some people here on A.org has voted it as one of the coolest chip-tunes, the mod's name is Coffee'n'Cake, does anybody know where I can get a hold of it?

I don't have it, but you can try http://ftp://ftp.modland.com/, http://amp.dascene.net/ and a deep-search on http://kestra.exotica.org.uk/

http://aminet.net/package/mods/chip/3LE-SKDJ

here is the link

I'm sorry, but those are the exact same results I got when I did a quick-search, the module Coffee'n'Cake aren't in the 3LE-Skogens djur (which in Swedsih means the animals of the forest) archive...
It might be the same author though :)

@Leffmann : Thanks, there's a place I *might* find it, modland!! :)
Pretty hefty archive, thanks for the tip.

This mod. was once distributed on a cover-disk from a Swedish Amiga-mag. called Datormagazin...

for searching for a specific file the web interface for modland is more useful than the ftp http://www.modland.com

Coffee'n'Cake  i don't think i've heard of but i do remember an old tune way back  with  quite a simular  title, Coffee & Donuts (Michal Hoffmann (Smalltown Boy), 2002 MultiStyle Labs) perhaps a long shot  but you can find it in the list below.

Hmm, yet another interesting page, thanks Calen! :)
But it wasn't a SID-tune, it was an Amiga PT/ST/NT- 'chiptune'.mod.
I've browsed through all the suggested pages (Thanks y'all) but still can't find it.
My only hope now is to either contact the probable composer, or go through loads of backup-disks I made some 10-12 years ago.

Hi there Voyager74,

I noticed that the Skogens Djur archive on Aminet only contains the first 20 songs of the collection.

You can find all the Skogens Djur songs here:

http://amp.dascene.net/detail.php?detail=modules&view=1240

Hope this was of help. You can click on the "info"-button on the right hand side of the songs to get more information concerning the tunes. :) I hope you'll find what you are looking for. As you can see, there's 35 Skogens Djur songs in total.

Good luck! :)
