Title: Picasso IV CD in for tracks
Post by: gaddarjoker on July 28, 2013, 09:51:16 AM
Hi there,

I've got Amiga 4000 with picasso IV. I want to get cdrom's track files to be listened via amiga. My drive is not equipped with earphone input so that's my only option. How can I get the sound via Picasso IV. I mean I connected the 4-pin wire from cdrom to pIV's cd input but no sound comes out. Is there a software (like ahi) setting for this? Or is there a better way... I know there is 3-pin cd-in on A4000 board but I don't have the proper cable 4-pin to 3-pin....
so any suggestion?

The extra cable on the 4 pin audio is just an extra ground, so putting it on the motherboard is no problem just skip one of the middle wires.
