Hi all,
I want to try to hook an Amiga (with SD/FF) onto a Photoplay-case. This is sort of an Arcade cabinet, but with only a touch screen. Normally it houses either a DOS or Windows XP Embedded pc (486 or Celeron).
I've built in some switches (KVM, audio and data for the touchscreen) and this works well on the original pc + a different pc running different software.
But I want to try to see if I can use an Amiga as second computer and play some touch screen friendly games (and find drivers: the touch screen is an ELO serial one). But are there any? They should be mouse games that don't require the right mouse button I guess.
Thanks!

There's an egalax USB touchscreen driver in the Poseidon package, so that opens up a few more screen options. As far as games go, I don't think there will be too many mouse-only options. Megaball comes to mind.
Lemmings and graphic adventures (Indy Fate of Atlantis, Simon the Sorcerer) are also possibilities, but because they bang the hardware the touchscreen drivers won't work.

But this *could* work when on a bigger Amiga, let's say A1200 with a 030 or 040, flickerfixer/scandoubler and running Lemmings through WHDLoad. Providing that I can find the drivers.
It's a serial touch screen and I don't have an Amiga with USB ports, so serial would be my only option.

I'm fairly certain that WHDLoad is still going to disable external drivers, so I think you're going to be limited to system-friendly things.
I think emulation might be the best option if you want a touchscreen Amiga that can still run anything you throw at it.

I think any point and click games should work, Lemmings, and any games that use mouse.

Emulation spoils the idea. If it doesn't work I just do something else ;)
