Am I the only person on this forum who has no idea what AROS-Max is?

Before anybody starts too close to the beginning, I do know what AROS is ;-)

80MB is a bit hefty for dialup. Can you just tell me?

I never used BeOS, but know what it is, so your description has me stuck in a cyclic loop. Better tell me before my brain locks up :-D

Well, seing as your on dialup! ;-)

As you know AROS is a base operating system, AROS-Max is kind of like a linux-distro for AROS if you will.  AROS + lots of software + configured nicely and bug tested.

Why don't you download it at work tomoz? It runs in a windows hosted in ms windows.

To avoid confusion. QEMU hosted means that it's the x86 native version running under the PC emulator QEmu. So it's a bit different from the Linux hosted version, which runs completely native. Or from a possible but not yet existing real Windows hosted version which would also run completely native.

Will there be a .iso version or is it just going to be in a .rar format?

I have better luck with .iso files.

Neither.  It's a Windows hosted version.  You just download the executable and run it. It really couldn't be easier. :-)
Sorry I got my files mixed up.   :-o

I was thinking of when I tried downloading the one you were supposed to un-rar and then burn to a cd. 0.20 I think it was,  I never could get unrar to find any files in the archive.  I downloaded it twice.

You may want to post this problem on AROS-Exec.org's  AROS-Max section.
