A4000 Motherboard

A defective X-Surf Card has fried my A4k Mainboard
(It's not the Buster or the Daugtherboard)  :-(

Can somebody tell me where I can get a spare
A4k Motherboard (I know they are really hard to find
nowadays)...

Couple on Ebay here and here.  I don't think you'll find anywhere else that still sells them unfortunately :( I was in the same position as you and in the end I just gave up and sold my remaining classic kit because it was too hard finding parts.

You could try softhut, although I seem to recall that they were pretty expensive....
Anyway is the only way

Software Hut (LINK) usually has them, but they are not cheap.  They're not cheap from any dealer.

If the card was defective shouldnt the manufacturer replace you board? I would think so.....

I just put an a4000 desktop together from parts from ebay and amibench it is a bit dodgy but is working. This board was repaired by analogic 3 years ago it has the sticker to show repair date .my non working a4000 tower has had a new motherboard by the last owner but that was 3 years ago. I want to send it to analogic but i also would like to put my a1200 with ppc in the case.From what i have seen the a4000 is no way near as reliable as my hacked and modified a1200.http://www.amibench.com/
