Compugraphic Fonts on Windows
« on: May 01, 2010, 09:30:05 AM »
Hello,

Is it possible to use Agfa Compugraphic fonts on Windows (2000,XP) ?

Does exist a font engine for using these fonts?

Googled so far but came with no result at all.

Thanks in avance.

The very last version of TypeSmith for the Amiga could convert Compugraphic Fonts to TrueType fonts that could be used in Windows.  I think that's version 2.5b.  It does a good job at this.

Try Googling typesmith and you might be able to find an old copy.  Here's one I found.

Thank you very much for the information.

However, it seems impossible to use CG fonts straight from the box on Windows. It is a shame since Agfa CG-Intellifont seemed the best font system available ever.

Cheers.
