Gunlord: If only Amiga was getting games like this.
« on: November 18, 2011, 08:08:47 PM »
I am probably going to order this, I mean, why wouldn't I? It looks like Turrican meets...

some other game, and it looks awesome!!! :)

Apparently this is only going to be released for the Sega Dreamcast and NeoGeo, but I thought I'd bring it up because it reminds me of the sort of innovation we used to see in old 2d, Sprite Based games of Amiga's yesteryear!  Check it out!!!!

Who knows, maybe some day we'll get a decent Dreamcast Emulator for MorphOS or something? :)

All the people that used to make cool games for Amiga are now making them for whatever it is the kids are running these days.

"Whatever it is the kids are running these days" sure isn't the Dreamcast, that's almost as much of a quixotic-crusader platform as the Amiga. Great system, some classic titles, but sadly doomed by Sega's ineptitude and Sony's launch of the PS2 hardly more than a year after its release...

Nice!!

And ya, I was going to say, Dreamcast and NeoGeo ain't exactly what all the kids are playing today.

Isn't there a MAME derived emulator for NeoGeo?

There are plenty of NeoGeo emulators out there, but I'm not sure any of the Amiga variants have them. I could be wrong though.

How about MorphOS or AROS?
