The games I play even today (in no particular order):

Total Chaos

 Roadkill AGA

 Gunship 2000 AGA

 Syndicate

Arkanos (gived as free from Aminet)

 Deluxe Galaga

 Klondike AGA

Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.

Dune 2 is one of the few games I ever bought for the Amiga.

Now, let's expand this thread to games which were so good that you decided to go and buy a legitimate copy instead. :-)

That was a great game.

If you love Star Control, check out The Ur-Quan Masters.

It's a open source port of the 3DO version of Star Control 2 (so it has great quality music and full voice acting).  Unfortunately, the main site only offers versions for Windows, Mac and Linux (which is fine by me since I'm run only Linux on my main box).

There's a source port to Amiga OS4 done by another party:

@SamuriCrow,

No offense meant.  At the moment it seemed amusing, to me anyway.

Sorry you did not appreciate the spirit that was intended, I did not mean it in anyway other than as a parody of the many messages here and elsewhere on the net where people have actually implied that piracy was responsible for the bankruptcy of Commodore and demise of Amiga production.

I hope you will accept my apology.

P.S. I also do not support piracy and have over 400 original boxed Amiga software titles (games and productivity) that I have paid for.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

Nobody else mentionned Micro-Machines.  Am I the only who loves that game?  It's really greate when you're playing one-on-one against someone else.

I also find the 'feeling' of the controls was perfect (like you you bounce of the bubbles in the bath level or slide in the sand level).

Has anyone else here even tried it?

yeah, sure I tried micromachines, I don't like it that much.
playing against computer can be frustrating

SuperSkidmarks, IndyHeat (and others) are better, not to mention SuperCars2
Better sorry than worry.

As a software developer who often used to use pirated tools, I realized that I would be hypocrite not to pirate games as well.

I didnt own an Amiga until a few years ago, so most of my long ago game memories are on the C64. I was always fond of classic arcade type games (Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Frogger, fighting games etc) for their group entertainment value. Pulling out games like that for parties is one of the main things I use my C64/Amiga for now. I also used to really enjoy RPG and simulation games like Ultima IV, Seven Cities of Gold, SimCity, etc.

These lists gives me a good start on Amiga games to check out, so, thanks.

  At least one other person here shares my sense of humor!  Good one koaftder!

Hey Newtonian, I would try Micromachines, but can't find a P!rated copy in my pile of "Back-Up" floppy disks.

Looking in the "Room Of Amiga" just now I did find two more boxes full of boxed Amiga games that have not been added to the spreadsheet of "My Amiga Games".  Woo Hoo!  Maybe I'll find a few that are listed on this thread.

I wouldn't exactly call them epic games but Chaos Engine and Jim Power are two that I still find very enjoyable to this day!

My first game that I was supposed to buy for my amiga 500 was "defender of the crown" but when I got to the computer store, it was sold out, so I bought the game

"Guild of Thieves" instead.

It was the absolute best text adventure I have ever seen. The interpreter was so great that you could write whole sentences and the interpreter understood. I have still, until this day not succeeded in finishing the game, I have never succeeded to get the parrot to say hurraay in the bank...  :)   I just love this game...
