The X1000 is just another repeat of another failed NG Amiga project by Adam Kowalcyk of ACK Controls.....same hardware specs and same pack of lies. His final lie was that his dad died and this was preventing him from achieving his production deadlines...that was several years ago. The only lie he didn't use was that his dog ate his homework. Then he disappeared along with his NG Amiga. The X1000 will go the same route. I hope I'm wrong, but with the track record of Amiga hardware development, I don't think so.
The last thing I heard went like this:
1) Amiga Inc. contacted ACK and said they wanted to build PPC systems with PA Semi cores.
2) ACK gave them some suggestions on possible designs.
3) Amiga Inc. made announcements. The computer press mentioned "the new Amigas".
4) ACK did not recieve a single penny from AInc to start the actual board designs.
5) ACK shrugged and moved on.
I don't really see how you can hold Adam responsible for that failure?
