Anyone still use ADoom?

Does anyone still use  Peter McGavin's ADoom for 68k and PPC? I use both Ultimate Doom and Doom 2 on it. Anyone still play link up or modem games on it? Oh i guess that Quake and Half Life have taken over! :-(

Sometimes I play Amidoom. It was a great game. I like the Homer mod for doom 2. AmiDoom runs very well om an 030/50 MHz.

I play adoomwos ppc occassionaly, ,but id much prefure a ppc port of DoomAttack. easily the best 68k port with nice features.  Im sure the source was released once, but hell if i can find it now.

Very Glad to see many people still using ADoom. I also agree that it rocks, both versions!

ADoom68K is my Amiga Doom loader. I never tried the other ports. Is there anything different about then?

I am DoomMaster, I'm only using nick of the other guy. ;-)

I use my A2000HD Professional only for professional stuff and I play Doom only on my PentiumIV.
Guyz, please do only Amiga-things on your Amigas. :-D
For PeeCee stuff, like playing Doom all of you should buy yourself PeeCee..  :-P


P.S.: No offense, DoomMaster. I just couldn't resist to fool aroung a little bit...  :-)

Have you tried ADoom PPC WUP and PUP? They might work. What version did you use?

I still use ADoom, it runs most respectably on my 030/50.  I've never tried a linkup/modem game though.

I prefer Genetic Species however.

I was never much of a Quake fan, but once I can afford an 060 I'd love to get Hexen II going.

ADoomPPC will most likely work with Mediator, at least the original has many options for gfx output and other issues. Well, would be strange if it didn't.

Hexen 2? I know it uses the Quake engine with a few modifications, but I haven't seen anything about an Amiga version.

sorry...yes it works but its not working as it should , i dont want to play it in LOWRES , changing screenmodes doesnt help.

and yes i am using Adoomppc , latest version (tried all) and i have tried every port around..

anyway same with Adescent aswell..

Doom has too little playability for my taste.

Suits simple minded ppl tho I guess.
