Formatting a new HD in Winuae
« on: January 01, 2005, 03:10:26 PM »
I use AmigaForever 6.0 and I want to turn an old Windows formatted HD in a Amiga formatted HD. But Winuae said that my HD isn't empty. How can I do it.

The HD sits in an 2.5" storage case.

Run WinUAE with the command line option -disableharddrivesafetycheck, then you will be able to choose any HDD. But beware of using your Windows HDD, this will destroy all you data.

Bye,
Thomas
