Bill McEwen to appear on TechTV

This coming Wednesday March 13, 2002 Bill McEwen, President/CEO of Amiga, will be on the show TechTV show Screen Savers on TechTV showing off Amiga products. Watch for your local show times (7 & 10 PM ET), and give Amiga a hand in getting the word out. More information can be found at the TechTV Website.

This will be cool!  I'm glad I have a Tivo box so it won't be hard to find when the program is on the air here.

They had misspelled the name! :(

Perhaps this is a bad omen / AMIGA curse.
TechTV is NOT available in ASIA (incl Japan) and AFRICA.

YAY! He said last year that he'd be on Silicon Spin once a month, but that never panned out. This is perhaps much better! :-D

this is good news..very good news, finally we can show people the amiga is still very much alive and kicking....=) for those of you who dont get techtv maybe i can mail a copy of the show to someone who can then make an mpeg out of it....as i dont own a video capture card at present...=)   Long Live The Amiga =)

I'm glad I subscribed to TechTV when it came to Canada in September of last year.

But a quick search on the TechTV site revealed to me that tomorrow night will not be Bill's first appearance on the TechTV channel.  He apparently also appeared on an episode of Silicon Spin (hosted by John C. Dvorak) back on November 1st, 2000.  "Bill McEwen of Amiga" is indicated as one of the guest hosts for that episode.  I wish I'd have seen it.

For him to be on The Screen Savers will definitely be a plus for Amiga and the Amiga community.

Anyways, I'll definitely be taping it.  And for those of you living in the Ottawa (Canada) area, I'll be showing the episode at this month's Amiga.info user group meeting.
