Is it possible to replace the pcmcia port connector?
I mean wit some sort of cable.
Would be nice if you could have the port internal for a internal wireless ethernet solution.
Or do these kind off cables don't exist.

I have been thinking about the same thing.

You could desolder the connector, place it on some extended wires and place your card inside the case, then run a cable from the antenna on the nick to an external small antenna connected on the backside of the A1200.
