Hope you enjoy getting back into the Amiga.

You should have everything you need with the "Amiga Forever CD". Except the games and apps. Check out www.back2roots.org. Its a page with old games and applications. All perfectly legal.

Welcome to here. Where about are you from, in the UK?

I have no idea about emulating the Amiga. I own a PC and an Amiga so have no need to. If you want to use the Amiga seriously get an AmigaOne, I ordered one yesterday. if all you want to do is play old games, then I`d just find an A1200/A500 (depending on the age of the games) somewhere and get a HD (for the A1200).

Hoya!

I wonder... Were there many Amigas sold in Japan? I guess not?

After all, the MSX was not very popular in Europe... :-P

Hi everyone. In answer to your questions. Yep im a TEFLER!! ha ha. And im not from the west country (although i wish i was). Nope from buckinghamshire im afraid. I dont think they had amiga over here actually. My students have no idea what they are anyway. Dont know what they are missing out on i say. Gonna give the emulation another go but im so dense when it comes to computers. This laptop is my first computer :-o . it also has a japaese o/s as well which further confuses me. ok so i install the emulation. the old school amiga screen pops up....then what? i have downloaded the games i want to play but it all gets a bit confusing from there....any help or advice will get an immediate arigato gozaimas from me(that means thanks by the way ha ha!)cheers everyone  :-)
