Noticed there are redundant login boxes on the front page. One at the upper right which seems to be persistent throughout the forums, and another in the center frame of the main page. Once logged in most of the information is redundant and showing in both places. Can these be consolidated to free up some window?
Yes click on the little orange box and the one in the middle will collapse freeing up your space.

Thanks. I saw that and it does help. Is there a way to remove it altogether?

The problem here is one of understanding. The two different login boxes are there because you're actually looking at two different systems.
vBulletin is what you actually authenticate into (the forum pages) and vBAdvanced runs the CMS part of the page.
vBulletin is at http://www.amiga.org/forums, which some people use. It does NOT have two login boxes.
vBAdvanced is the root page, but not everyone goes there first, or has that bookmarked. If I were to remove the extra set, then they'd have no way to log in at all if they went to the forums first.
Oh, wait, maybe. But it's such a small point that most people wouldn't even notice.
If it bothers you, shrink it, or come to the site via the forums and log in eh? :)
