Probs with IBrowse
« on: March 31, 2004, 09:31:55 AM »
Amiga.org server began suddenly to complain that IBrowse 2.3 sends a too long request that the server can't handle when trying to go to the forums from amiga.org home. I think I haven't changed anything in my settings but I'm not sure.

I tried it this morning with Ibrowse v2.3 thru MorphOS v1.4 this morning and didn't have any problems.

Maybe you should clean up your Cache?

Seems to be working fine for me as well. Could have just been some problem with the site too.

@zipper

Yes, I had exactly the same problem two days ago. It happened very suddenly and I thought Aorg may have suffered a hack or something.

Anyway, it's related to Aorg's cookies. As suggested to me by Wayne (thanks for that Wayne) you should delete all your existing Aorg cookies and the problem will be resolved.

Cheers,

JaX

I tried from my backup, the same problem did exist. So I'll next try
that cache cleaning. This time I'm using Voyager 126, waiting when it
crashes...Yesterday it took about 5 mins, even when I did nothing:-(

Yeah, that was it; cleaning the cookies fixed the problem. THX!
