We want to create an Amiga-kart with Boing ball and  with the AROS-cat as a driver. We are looking for a proposal for a  kart. If someone could post a drawing?

I am too tired for a good drawing (tried it 4 times now), but picture this in your mind:

Kitty is kneeling - leaned forward - much like sitting on a motorcycle. If you see her from behind her feet are visible close to the tail. A Commodore logo turned sideways (so that the red and blue spikes are looking down) is the back of the seat the tail is going through the logo.

The front of the car looks like a VW Beetle - the arced front part is the half of a boing ball.

The wheels in the front are smaller than the huge back wheels. Each wheel has a boing ball in the center. The seering wheel looks like a blue butterfly. To the side of the vehicle are huge exaust pipes that resemble checkmarks in rainbow colors.

My friend and I have been working on designs for Kitty and her Kart for a while, they're all concept drawings but I haven't got them scanned in yet. I love SuperTuxKart and have been really keen to get Kitty included as soon as possible, but I'm also worried that she might not turn out looking as awesome as she should if someone without any real love for the character were to quickly whip something up to include in the game.

I've been following your thread on the FreeGameDev forums and was planning on posting the designs as soon as I can get them scanned. I really hope we can work together on this.

A nice film of STK 0.7 rc1:

SuperTuxKart 0.7 rc1 first-look

Installed this RC on Sunday, works quite well under Mac OSX.  Been playing the game for a short while now thanks to hearing about the game from kas1e.

In this version you can have up to 19 additional karts and 99 laps if you want to!  You can see 'further into the distance' in this version as well at a a higher resolution.  There a small handful of glitches throughout the game, but nothing major.  Snow Mountain soundtrack has changed :( I loved that acoustic track with vocal. :(

LOL on Monday I ran through the Maths Classroom track with 19 karts, 99 laps in 27mins flat   - as its the shortest track in the game.  Best time I believe off the top of my head was 11.50 seconds.  I don't recommend playing with 19 karts though as its very processor heavy, I have to drop to just 9 now, my 2ghz machine just can't cope; frame rate drops significantly.

A great play as always - hope the Amiga community can get its butt together quick enough for the artwork in time for this release is another thing.  Good luck whoever is doing it. :)
