Pictures link
« on: June 07, 2009, 06:52:12 PM »
Hi,
I didn't see the usual tools to link picture from an another site.
Only the picture attachement.
So should I just copy/paste the http adress of the picture and the people will have to click on it to see it ?
Keep the Faith !

If you click on the button to insert the image you can add the URL of any picture on the net and it will display in your post.

If you use the attachment tool it will attach a thumbnail and a link which needs to be clicked to view it.

Ok, I see what you mean : push the " [IMG] code is On " at the bottom and then an explicative text page appears.
I prefer the old style function button.
Keep the Faith !

Here's an example of embedding an image.

Argh! Aero!

*runs away*

My Vista 64, when I actually use it. looks just like Win2K, with slighly fatter window borders.

Pretty much :)

Of all the windows user interfaces, I found the basic 9x style the nicest* to use. Back before they decided to add 1000 different ways of doing the same thing.

*read: least awful :D

What you need to do is select the advanced WYSIWYG Editor in your User CP / Options. It's somewhere near the bottom of the options page.

Once you have saved the new settings you should be able to see the same thing as me.

A few folks in my family still have aol accounts. They don't want to loose the email address they've had for years. My aunt actually likes the portal. I liked AOL back in the day, cause I had a stack of free floppy disks 1ft tall!

Wish MorphOS supported pcc macs. I have 13 PPC macs doing... nothing at the moment. Well, I have one mac running netbsd thats being used as a subversion repository.

If they've have used any other vbulletin forums they might. Luckily for me, I'm a member on another forum that uses it so the transition wasn't so bewildering.
